On March 8th of every year we celebrate International Women's Day!
To celebrate women empowering women, we have International Women’s Day. It celebrates social, cultural, economic and political achievements for women. It’s celebrated on March 8th every year. It was developed in the early 20th century to support women’s rights and suffrage. Women’s day started in Europe on March 19th, 1911; the U.S. started celebrating it in 1977. This day brings in millions of people for rallies, walks, etc. International Women’s Day colors are purple, white, and green. Purple represents justice, green represents hope, and white represents purity.
